2217826 Private Ernest Goldwin Scott was born in Tecumseh, Ontario on August 2, 1896. He was drafted under the Military Service Act of 1917 on October 27, 1917 at the age of 21. At the time of his call up he was residing in Tottenham, Ontario and was a farmer by trade. He was placed in a reserve battalion by May of 1918 and it is doubtful that he saw much action if any at all. His marker does not indicate his date of death, simply his service particulars.
